bounded to chains: Lies

No longer a human; all has forgotten the true serenity of life. The words that have been erased since the time of warriors “Honor” ever since then I haven’t understand such concept. Humans hunt though even so there is times when I’m scared. Why is that I’m a predator but there is times when I feel like prey? I still am a prisoner in my own lies. I’m trapped, betrayed, cursed. A corpse that still wanders the earth, no life flows through my veins. The heartbeat would never be heard. Eyes crimson as blood that been crying to regain the life that flourished through me. Shackles that tie me to the chains of misery…… But I will have my revenge……

Title: The beginning
The darkness overwhelms the wastelands waiting to consume such mortals who dare cross paths with the all devious one. Fumes of toxins penetrate the place as the noise of shackles would echo through the black cloud. Eyes of crimson would glimmer in the shadowy fumes as well as screams mixed with terror. A man carrying to corpses would look around the darkness his eyes would gleam like a cat. It would also have a slightly sharpened pupil along with a 7 point star and around the star a ring which contained commas equally spread out along the ring. The kekkei genkai which his clan was cursed with… the “Shangraika yuoko”. The eye of the demon which ruled a long time ago amongst humans as this particular demon rode a horse of ashes and flames. The demon’s armor was made of bones as he had no body but a soul. His body was a shadow but the eyes he had were outstanding he was the founder of the kiro clan. Even so the boy would look around the wasteland as he dropped both corpses. He seems to be missing flesh well meat on his left side of the body only to show his ribs, his skeletal structure. No organs or anything. Not even blood. He was killed……. Killed by someone he truly cared for…. Miharu Hachiko...Oh how he dwells on the pain even if he has no heart. Even so he was punished by his ancestors to wander the Earth for all eternity and will never crossover to the spirit world between life and death. Not like he cares. Kneeling down he would peel the flesh of the corpse only to consume it. Eating the rotting flesh he would began to have flesh line out the area that shows his bones. He was becoming full fleshed again. I’m Kisho Kuroboshi the remaining member of the Kiro clan. Traveling alone in the eastern wastelands he seems to be in a desert. Cursing under his breath he would walk as his shackles jingled behind him. Triumph and despair over what? A girl? Why did he try to make her stay? What was he aiming for? The questions he hasn’t gotten answers too lingered in his memory. But only he wished he could tell her… He forgives her…. Even though he wants revenge it is hard to choose whether to put all in the past or keep growing the hate he still contains… Was he unmatched? Wandering constantly like a lost soul he would find himself in the south part of Sunagakure. Looking around his kekkei genkai would return to his normal eyes. But this village seems good but even so he knows he is sort of close to Konohagakure. Kisho growled lowly as he would cough. His skin was ice cold, oh how he misses to feel the cold breezed upon his face and to taste the sweet juices of fruits. Wandering through the streets of the village he would be eyed at... he wore his usually Nin outfit but I guess he didn’t realize the peeling flesh on his cheek. Ignoring the pathetic humans he would concentrate onto his destination, he plans to the visit the abandon Kiro clan compound in the north of the forest straight ahead of the village. He used to be a jounin in Konoha the best. In those times he was the average emo,skater ninja but that’s before he left the village and became a member in a secret organization known for stealing Kekkei genkai’s. That’s where he met her……. Clenching his eyes he would shake off the memory and exit the village’s gates and walk straight into the forest. Continuing on through the forest, the sun would began to lower as dawn came. Ahead he saw a structure a building most likely. Walking closer he would realize the Kiro clan symbols the symbol of a flaming bird “Phoenix” and being held by the flaming bird’s talons as a 7 point star along with flames. He smiled softly as he would now touch the broken walls while some seem to crumble into debris. The place seemed nothing like it used to be… now it’s more of an ancient artifact. Walking in the through the broken gates he would look around this shattered place. Some building still stood while others crumbled in pieces of stone.

Dim lights, pitch black sky, streets deserted. All was calm on this particular night. Children asleep in their beds, along with their parents, relatives, etc. Shinobi asleep, or some still awake but unseen. It was untold the time in particular, but seemed to be at least around the time of 11 at night. The moons glow reflected off the streets, giving it a small glow, yet very little light at the same time. In the town greatly known as Konohagakure, roamed a cloaked figure, impossible to exactly guess just by the sight of the human eye. The figures appearance was fierce by the look of it, and not to be taken lightly to say the least. Located in the local park, swings swung in the wind, making a sound of moving metal, the wind whistling in the crisp air.

This figure, was best known as the great Miharu Hachiko, former shinobi of Konohagakure, but now commonly referred to as the Kage of Houkagakure. She was better off not messed with, for she was a common murderer as well. The female possessed a demon, called the Kotsune. It was not indeed a jinchuriki like most, but a mere simple demon. It did not have more than one tail. It was indeed a night for murder. The demon constantly was in need of feeding, flesh and blood to be exact, or better, meat. To keep her defenses way up, the human made a bargain with the monster. She would feed him in exchange for her body to be made of ashes, giving up almost invincibility, unless somehow a shinobi figures out how to defeat her by her weakness, but, none had ever been able to accomplish that task and eventually was killed in the process. Miharu's main Jutsu consisted of Fire, using Katon and most of her attacks. She was capable of using other elements, but better prefered Katon the best.
The shinobi mumbled to herself, walking down a dirt path down the streets of Konohagakure

"You goddamn demon, why must you do this to me? One of these days your going to ruin my position cause I have to constantly feed you…Why did I have to get you, out of all the other demons, I get the one with the biggest stomach."

The female sighed carelessly, her hood over her head so her face was un-viewable, this way the ones she killed would not know who their killer was.

"Heh."

Coming to a stop, she sniffed the damp air, smelling quite a rather delicious scent, that just couldn't stop bugging her taste buds. Following the scent, she turned walking down the path in which led her to a small cottage. Miharu was indeed after kekkei Genkais as well, but was to busy to go with that mission. Approaching the small house, she licked her upper lip wickedly with greed. Fresh blood spilled, awaiting her arrival. Standing at the door, she turned the handle, it was locked, figures. Moving aside the side of her cloak, a Katana was held at her waist tightly fastened and held by a red cloth. Reaching her right hand down, she gripped the handle, withdrawing the long blade into play. The street lights glow reflected off of it, giving it an edge. With one mere slash she swung the blade at the door, as in a mere second it fell to the ground now cut diagonal. Entering, no one was inside the living room. Upstairs was where came from. She walked up the stairs, trying not to give off her arrival if possible. Once up the stairs, it lead to a small highway, 3 doors. Assuming 2 being bedrooms and one a bathroom.

"Ow mom that hurts!"

Cried a boy from inside the second room. By the voice he sounded to be at least 9 or younger. Staggering closer the Kage approached the door, calmly. She swung the door open as the mom screamed holding her child close to her. She was frightened to see the masked figure come in, assuming it was an assassination. Miharu then focused chakra into her blade, sending heat waves into it, anyone 10 feet near her would either be burned or killed by the tremendous amount of heat pressure*

"W-What do you want?!"

The woman bellowed, as tears fled down her eyes. Miharu was not indeed cold hearted to children, but what must be done must be done.

"Kid. Run. I'm letting you go."

She gave the child a slight smile, trying to help him feel a bit safer and not so terrified

"N-No! Not without mommy!"

The 9 year old boy held his mother tightly sobbing, tears running down his face. The Female sighed, not wanting to do this but he gave her no choice. Screams then echoed, all the rest was silent.


Exiting the house, Miharu licked the blood from her lips as well as off her blade, as she slid it back into it's sheath. Walking back on the path, she made her way to the gates of Konoha. Walking down the path, Jounin ran past her, investigating the crime. It seems she had forgoten to kill the father, but it didn't matter now, the deed was done. Continuing her midnight stroll one of the police ran into her as she was spoken to.

"Sorry to bother you miss but a child and mother were just murdered. Would you happen to know anything about that?"

"No Sir, I'm sorry but I don't."

He thanked her and apologized for the inconvenience, now taking off back to the crime scene. Miharu walked on, biting her tongue, giggling to herself in a some what evil way. Bringing her eyes up to meet the view of another’s eyes, if there was a person there, her eyes were a pink color, 8 dots near the pupil, along with a circle connecting them all. This was her Kekkei genkai, the Jikagon. Parting her lips she spoke laughing

"Heh. Imbeciles..."

The Rogue ninja walked past the gates, exiting her old home, into the depths of the thick forest. Entering the habitant place, where anything was possible. Animals roamed freely, feeding on one another as they pleased. It was a wretched world indeed, including the life cycle. A sickening thing to be honest. Trees submerged everywhere, along with branches hanging down in the way of the path, bushes on the side. Not many commoners took this path, for it was rumored to be where murders always took place. This of course was not true but strictly in their own imaginations. reaching in her pouch behind her white shorts, she pulled out a small item what looked to be wrapped in seaweed. It was indeed a rice ball. Munching on it she smiled happily taking her stroll. He was fed, and now her. Time to make her way home.
Coming to a stop the konoichi let out a soft sigh, feeling the presence of another in the area. Not wanting to play games anymore, she looked around, not intimidated at all.

"Come out, before I'm forced to find and dispose of you."

No response had come, but the presence still remained there. She looked around for any sign of the person that could be in hiding, still no luck. Heading in the direction in which the scent had come from, she found herself near a deserted building. It was broken down, glass shattered on the ground with ruble and moss growing on top of some of the pieces of wood, it had been abandoned many years ago by the looks of it. Finding then a symbol in the front, it was that of a phoenix, one she distinctively remembered to be apart of a particular clan, one known as the Kuroboshi’s symbol. This must have been their shrine which had faltered many years back prior to this day recalling her memory if that was correct. Walking on top of all the mess, she made her way inside past the main gates, looking around in great curiosity. She remembered this place, she and her close friend use to spar here, it was his family that lived here, and it was his family that died here as well. When further inside she looked to the walls and saw skeletons lay against the stone, almost looking recent. But no one else was in here, were they?

She then heard foot steps moving around, dust around in the air, her nostrils picking up the scent. She furthered her search for the person, then finally saw them in the next room, their backs turn. But when she saw them, her eyes grew wide with shock…

Kisho would kneel down slightly as his shackles rattled as he moved. His kekkei genkai would be activated as he searched for a particular item. Sighing he would stand up as he would grab the hilt of his sword. But as he even touched the hilt a clump of flesh would fall off his bare back revealing his insides which was nothing but his bones. Growling lowly he would walk over to the carcass he carried. Tearing a huge clump of flesh off he would only consume it. As he finished consuming the chunk of flesh. Lining of skin began to replace his old flesh to new. Turning around his kekkei genkai would flash red as the star blazed like flames. The comma's spinned on one of the rings as his pupil became sharp

(AH that was short but im tired right now)

Miharu gazed upon him in horror...Kisho was suppose to be dead, she killed him! How was he still alive?! Her mouth gaped open with shock and curiousity, nothing could explain her feelings right now. She was also scared, not scared that he would kill her, but scared of the fact of what he has become. He changed, he wasn't the same thing he use to be, she was scared for his sake, that the being he now became would eat him alive and the real one would never come back. Watching him feed on the bodies in front of her very eyes, and it was almost like picturing her eating a human, it was like a male version of herself, and it wasn't at the least bit satisfying. She then stepped closer to him. Her hand glided over to the hilt of her sword as she withdrawed it into play and looked at him, not sure if it would have to come to another blood bath.
"What the hell are you..." was all she could say. Too many emotions ran through her body as she shook while gripping her blade tight. She didn't want to harm him, but would he harm her...?

(im tired too so thats why mines short, sorry.)

Kisho red eyes flickered towards who he now reconized none other as Miharu Hachiko. His eyes would look at her as it revealed his clans cursed kekkei genkai but he would only grin showing such canines sharp enough to tear flesh with one touch. "Well isnt it rude to greet an old friend that way." he says referring to her sword being pointed at him "Or did u just want me gone again." he hissed his eyes gleaming bright red. But he would soon calm down. His muscles would tense as he would rest his palm on the hilt of his sword only to be cautious with his friends motives. A chillin breeze blew but it doesnt matter since he could no longer feel. The cuff with a half teared chain rattled as he took on step forward not too close though. as his other cuff on his left wirst made a screeching noise when metal is rubbed together.

(yaT-T i cant sleep though)

"Not what I meant..." she said gritting her teeth and clenching her fist. He was some kind of creature, something unhuman. She couldn't place her finger on it as she walked closer, his eyes blazing at her. She didn't have a care to activate her own kekkei genkai, she didn't think she needed it at a time like this.
"How are you alive...Kovu..."

Kovu would laugh softly "Wow Miharu have u really forgotten? I told u stories of my clan about what happens when we die." he points out to her " Dont u remember how I say I would be punished when I die. But u told me not to doubt myself." he says Kovu would stop walking towarda her " You were wrong Miharu... I was punished so in doing so I ain't what you call " Alive" I'm a dead person a corpse that has now soul or organs. A zombie or lifeless body that could no longer feel anything or taste anything." he says before continuing his sentence " I was punished to walk amongst the earth to serve my ancestors. I'm nothing but their servant. These chains bound me to them and can never be broken." he speaks before showing her his shackles on his left arm as they bare the mark of the clans seal upon it

Kisho would only nod at the words she has spoken. As would his shackles jingle when he moved. He would close his eyes and sigh "Life isnt what i called perfect when i was living. Nor wias it better at death. But as you just said I am the first unfortunate one in the Kiro clan. Even mother shunned me....." he says as he would grind his teeth knowing when he died he saw her for 4 minutes as she spoke to him about how ashamed she was and that he can no longer call her mother...

"I knew how your mother was and she wasn't very nice I might as well put out. But we both felt the same burden, the rejection of our parents for our existance. Should we not prove them we deserve to live in this world, even if they don't want us here? Make them proud, no matter how much they hate us and want us dead. Prove them wrong." she then puts her hand on his shoulder and smiles wearily trying to get him to smile. She knew how he felt. They had both gone through the same feeling through birth. That was why they were close friends in the past, because they related to one another.

"Heh i will." he says smirking Yet he would look around it seems the sky was still darkened

She looked up at the sky then looked at him. "Shall we go somewhere else to talk?"

"if u wish." he says turning to activate his kekkei genkai only to allow him to see up ahead "There is a abandon shed straight ahead." he says as he would turn to her

"Well head there then." she put her head over her head since it had started raining outside and she hated the rain. She followed him to the shelter since her Jikagon didn't have the ability to see ahead, only to diactivate kekkei genkais and summon the shadow realm.

Leading the way there he didn't mind the rain. As his hair would get damp and his clothes would be soaked. While walking his shackles will jingle in a soft tune yet they could be heard. Seeing the shelter's rooftop he would guess they were closer

Reaching the place Miharu opened the door as it was unlocked. No one lived here by the looks of it. She walked over to the fireplace and lit a flame in her hand, touching the dry old wood. She then stood up since she had lit the fireplace, soon they would be warm and clear of the coldness of the rain. She then took off her cloak since it was soaked as she sat in front of the fire to warm up.

Entering the abandon place. He would close the door behind him to keep the cold air out as he would walk over to a chair and place his cloak on it before he sat down. The room glowed from the fire's flames. Sighing he would just lean back in his chair

She began to get warm from the fire as the sparks always fascinated her to watch and the change in color. She just sat there, waiting for him to start the conversation they were having before or at least just be the first one to talk since nothing came to mind.

Kisho would look around. Yet he sighed " So... Miharu how um have you been all these years?" he asked just only to start a conversation from this silence

She turned her head but didn't move from her spot. "Still having Kotsune in me, it's been crappy. But I'm glad I found you. I missed the times we had together."

" ah see the demon doesn't seem to stop with it's rampaging hunger." he says then looks at her " u miss hanging out with me?" he questions which was quite surprising to him
