A Compelling Invitation. (Sora & Kori)

Sora smiled as he stepped out onto the beach. His shirt slung over his right shoulder. "Ahhh....I love the beach...I wonder where she is though...Am I too early?" He shrugged and laid his bag and towel down on the warm sun. The sun had climbed up to it highest point and stuck there for a seemingly long twelve seconds as he laid atop his towel he exhaled deeply before closing his eyes slowly. "How did I get into this predicament?" He thought on that while he waiting never finding an answer.

Walking onto the beach she could hear the sound of her inner demon Nikushimi and the sound of the ocean waves. She ignored her demon and continued onto the bleach spotting a familiar face. "Sora...your hear early" Kori said holding her towel in her arms and smiled. Stopping next to him and setting down her things. She quickly pulled out a picnic basket while keeping her smiling face up. But she still hade Sharingan activated realizing she did, she quickly stopped it.

Sora smiled and looked up at her opening his eyes. "You are so...what's the words? 'Battle ready'. There will be no fights on my watch Little Lady." He laughed lightly and sat up leaning over the picnic basket like a vulture. "What'd you bring me? I hope it's your home made cookies." He smiled widely and began lifting the top keeping an eye on her cautiously. 'I swear she had better not revert to violence like the last time...it took me a week to heal.' Just the thought of her last attack made him wince lightly.

She laughed even if she really felt it wasn't necessary to hurt him. "Now why would I want to fight on such a wonderful day" Kori said smiling. She indeed brought her cookies to which Sora enjoyed often. "Oh yes I did bring the cookies" She chuckles smiling. Setting down the basket and she ran into the water face first. She resurfaced out of the water. "COLD" She cried out.

He opened the basket and took out a cookie before turning his gaze to her and smiling. "Duh! Why do you think i wasn't swimming yet. I wanted you to test it." He yelled out to her before taking a gigantic bite of his cookie. "Tsugoine!!!!! It's so delicious." He smiled and fell back onto his towel. 'This is life...her cookies are amazing.' "You want I should jump in the water with you?" He called out with out moving.

"It would be nice" She said coldly before using Nikushimi's fire element to heat up the water. Even with him being a cat demon he loved water which a lot of other demons found strange. "Come on in Sora have some fun" She called out to him and waved her arms.

Sora smiled and sat up laying his shirt down and fixing his short before finishing his cookie and dashing straight for the water. He dove into the water and to his surprize it wasn't cold at all. "Your demon is sooo cool did he do this?" He spoke as he resurfaced and smiled swimming toward her. His eyes flittered over her face and were stuck there for a moment before shaking his head and tearing his gaze away. 'What the hell was that?' His heart began to beat faster then returned to normal.

Kori smiled as she nodded to his first question. "Yes Nikushimi did this" She answered not realizing he was staring at her. She began to float on her back and smiled softly staring towards the sky. "What was what" She asked him while continuing to float there. But soon stopped and looked at Sora with her eyes which sparkled in the sun's light.

He smiled goofily and began to swim around her slowly. Making sure to keep his eyes off of her and spoke nonchalantly. "Oh nothing i thought i had touched a turtle with my foot but it was a smooth rock. So how'd you get out of ninja duty for this little get away we have going on here?" He laughed lightly and hoped she wouldn't ask he he got out of his line of work. An image of Riku and the kin g fighting hordes of heartless and cursing his name made him laugh again lightly.

Kori normally wasn't supposed to answer to those question but seeing as no one was here to tell on her she thought it couldn't hurt. "He likes you Kori" The demon cat growled. Only to really not be heard by Kori. "Well I ran from my village" She answered him. He most likly will not believe this one bit.

Sora stopped mid swim and floated behind her slightly to her left. "Hm...On what pretense? If I'm not prying..." He had become a bit more serious for it would take something pretty big toget Kori to leave her village."

She didn't answer for her mind was thinking of that horrible day. Nikushimi took over to full in the answers. "She was to leave the village because her family and clan were murdered by Itachi...as for her parents I killed them when I was sealed inside of Kori" The demon growled in explanation. But soon Kori came back to conscious again and looked at him blankly. "I'm sorry it's too painful to tell" She said sadly looking down.

Sora sighed and nodded before swimming around in front of her and smiling lightly. "Hey, you don't have to I understand. How about we go back to shore for a while? I'll make you a sand castle and then i can eat more cookies. How's that sound?" He smiled and finally looked at her again before reaching down and touch her hand lightly.

She jumped out of the water and landed on her feet upon the beach. "Come then" she said sitting down waiting for him. Pulling out a piece of rare meat she heard Nikushimi growl in hunger she knew he was hungry. "Yuck...ok here I go" She said taking a bite out of the meat and managed to shallow it. Nikushimi smiled within his cage as she fed him.

Sora sighed and rose from the water and began slowly gliding toward her and the subsequent shore. "Hm...She seems to lose track of events when the demon takes over...That must be tough." He dismissed the thought and put on a smile as he laded softly next to her.

After finishing her duty to the demon she laid back and stared at the sky. Her demon went to sleep so it gave her peace. "Sora...why do you hang around me" Kori asked curiously. She awaited hi answer.

He looked over to her for a second and then out to the water. "Hm...You are like me...I guess that's why. I could sit hear all day and name things that make me want to hang with you but I don't want to talk your ear off." He smiled and watched the waves. "You make me smile. That's the true reason."

"Really now...I'm not going anywhere why else" She asked him smiling softly. She activated her Sharingan while looking at him. Pulling out a cookie and took a bite off it. "Their is another reason is there not Nikushimi tells me all he knows about people so don't lie" She said smiling still.

He smiled and grabbed a cookie. "You know I knew that loud mouth cat couldn't keep his mouth shut." He smiled lightly and bit the cookie. "I think i may like you...It feels that way, don't know how it should feel but i guess that's what it is. When i saw you in the water i almost had a heart attack...but a good one if that makes sense." He watched the waves roll in and the tide began to move in the water touched his toes slowly.

She giggles to his comment on Nikushimi having a big mouth. "Oh I thought that was it as for my demon he can't help himself" Kori chukled lightly. She didn't realize he was staring at in the water till now when he mentioned it to her. "You may or you do" She persisted to ask till he spilled it.

He shrugged lightly and smiled finishing his cookie and reaching for another one. "Maybe you can help him..." He ignored her question and began nibbling on the next cookie. "I think i do kinda maybe sorta like you alot." He laughed lightly and averted his eyes.

She laughed at him shyness towards her. "Come now you can do better than that Sora" She commented towards him. Nikushimi continued to sleep soundly as Kori seduced Sora into telling her the real truth.

Sora just continued his round about explanation. "You know the feelings i have for you are quite anti-platonic and leans more toward the infatuated state of young adults like us." He ate the cookie in one bite. "Hungry...the cookies are making me more hungry."

She only could laugh at his shyness which proved entertaining. "Sora your avoiding me" Kori said laughing. She leaned closer to him smirking her eyes remained locked into his eyes. She knew from Nikushimi he liked her a lot but yet to spill it out all the way.

He smiled nonchalantly and shook his head slowly. "Nope Nope. I'm standing right next to you...How do i avoid you?" He leaned closer to her face and licked his lips slowly.
